Thalavattam- based on book, One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest

Thalavattam was a classic entertainer that potrayed the story of a man and the psychiatric hospital he was admitted. The story was acquired from the book 'One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest' written by Ken Kesey, published in the year 1962 and made as film in the year 1975. The Malayalam film starring Mohanlal, Karthika, M G Soman and Jagathy in lead was released in 1986 and remade to Hindi as 'Kyon Ki' in 2005.
