Minnaram was comedy drama which made us all cry at the climax. The movie starred Mohanlal, Shobana, Thilakan, Jagathy Sreekumar, Lalu Alex, Venu Nagavally etc. The movie was also remade to Tamil as 'Azhagana Naatkal' directed by Sundar C. The blockbuster movie was adopted from American musical drama film 'The Sound of Music', released in the year 1965.
