Geethaanjali is a horror thriller starring Mohanlal, Nishan, Keerthi Suresh, Swapna Menon, Siddique, Madhu, Innocent and K. B. Ganesh Kumar in lead roles. The movie was said to be the spin off of 'Manichitrathazhu', a blockbuster film of 1993 directed by Faasil, as Mohanlal appeared to handle the same role Dr. Sunny in this film. The story of Geethaanjali was partially adapted from the crime detective novel 'Elephants Can Remember' by Agatha Christie, published in the year 1972.
