Ozhimuri, released in the year 2012, was directed by Madhupal. The movie, starring Lal, Mallika, Asif Ali, Bhavana and Shweta Menon in lead roles, narrates the story of a husband and wife deciding to get divorced at their old age and their life. The movie had a strong script written by Jeyamohan, but did not do well at box office.
