Vinayan’s Aakasha Ganga 2 release pushed to October
Veteran filmmaker Vinayan’s upcoming horror thriller Aakasha Ganga 2, which was expected to hit the screens in August during the Onam holidays, has now been pushed to October. According to the makers, they are forced to shift the release date as the graphics works and re-recording need more time to finish. The movie, which is a sequel to the 1999 movie Aakasha Ganga, is scripted by the director himself. Interestingly, the movie was shot in Vellinezhi Olappamanna Mana, where the first part was also filmed.
The star cast of the movie includes Sreenath Bhasi, Vishnu Vinayan, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Vishnu Govindan, Hareesh Kanaran, Salim Kumar, Senthil Krishna, Hareesh Peradi, Ramya Krishnan, Praveena, Valsala Menon, Kanakalatha, Thesni Khan and newbie Arathi. It has music composed by Bijibal. Reportedly, the movie will be released in Tamil as well.
