Pulimurugan entered Guinness book of world records
Mohanlal’s Pulimurugan, which was the first Malayalam movie to enter the prestigious 100 Crore club, has created history yet again. The movie entered the Guinness book of world records for having the largest attendance at a 3D film screening, by breaking the record set by Will Smith's 2012 Hollywood movie Men in Black 3, which was viewed by 6,819 people at Berlin’s O2 World in Germany. Meanwhile, the 3D version Pulimurugan was screened in the presence of about 20000 viewers at the Adlux International Convention & Exhibition Centre at Angamaly in Ernakulam. Mohanlal, Vysakh, Tomichan Mulakuppadam, Gokulam Gopalan and Antony Perumbavoor were also present at the function.
According to Tomichan Mulakuppadam, who is the producer of Pulimurugan, the 3D version of the movie will be released in about 65 theatres on May 5.
