Priyanka Thimmesh in 'Kayamkulam Kochunni'

Kannada actress Priyanka Thimmesh will handle one of the female lead roles in 'Kayamkulam Kochunni', directed by Rosshan Andrews. She will share the screen with Nivin Pauly and Amala Paul in her first Malayalam movie. Her last released Kannada movie was 'Pataki' with Ganesh and her upcoming movies are 'John Seena' and 'Bheema Sena Nala Maharaja'.

Priyanka, who has already worked in Tamil industry, is very excited to work in a Malayalam movie. Priyanka says it was labels of Rosshan Andrews and Nivin Pauly that fascinates her about the movie. Priyanka has already signed up to play one of the female leads in the movie and she will join the sets soon.

'Kayamkulam Kochunni' narrates the story of a well-known thief, of the 19th century, who was a night mare for the rich people. Nivin Pauly plays the title role of Kochunni and the movie is said to be the costliest Malayalam movie. Life of Kochunni was already narrated in a 1966 movie, 'Kayamkulam Kochunni', which was directed by P A Thomas.
