Manju Warrier’s Udaharanam Sujatha will not release on Onam

The release date of Manju Warrier’s upcoming movie Udaharanam Sujatha, which was earlier scheduled for an Onam release, has been changed. It will be released in cinemas on September 22.  Manju plays the role of a struggling widow named Sujatha, a resident of Chenkalchoola Colony, a slum in Thiruvananthapuram, in the movie. The star cast of the movie includes Mamta Mohandas, Nedumudi Venu, Joju George and Anashwara. Mamta will be seen playing the role of a district collector in it. This is the first time Mamta Mohandas is sharing screen space with Manju Warrier.

Udaharanam Sujatha, scripted by Anuraga Karikkin Vellam fame Naveen Bhaskar, is directed by debutant Phantom Praveen. It has cinematography by Madhu Neelakandan and music composed by Gopi Sundar. The movie is jointly produced by Joju and Martin Prakkat under the banner of Finding Cinema after the Dulquer Salmaan starrer Charlie.
