Malayala Cinema shines in the 67th National Awards

67th National awards 2021 - Full list

67th National award was announced on 22nd Monday 2021. It’s a proud moment for Malayalam industry that Malayalam bagged 7 awards including best feature film award for Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea( Arabikadalinte Simham), directed by Priyadarsan. The movie is yet release in theatres dues to COVID 19 pandemic. The best actor award was shared by Manoj Bajapayee for Bhonsle and Danush for Asuran. The best actress was achieved by Kangana Ranaut for her performance in 2 movies- Panga and Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi. 

The supporting actors award for male was bagged by Vijay Sethupathi for Super Delux and for female was won by Pallavi Joshi for The Tashkent Files.
