Claim against Kanchanamal-Moideen Love : Legal Notice sent to Hameed
Hameed Chennamangaloor, social worker and writer, had claimed that Kanchanamala - Moideen love was not this deep and sincere as shown in the movie. Shibu Kalloor, who is first member of a library under Mukkam Seva Mandir and State Library Council, send the legal notice. He demanded Hameed to withdraw his statement.
The notice was sent through advocate V.K Anwar Sadique. The notice read that the characters shown in the movie Ennu ninte Moideen, Kanchanamala and Moideen, are admired by Shibu and Hameed have insulted them. If he is not willing to withdraw his statements, he has to face legal actions. It was also added in the notice that Hameed's statement was for popularity.
Hameed claimed earlier that, Kanchanamala and Moideen loved for long 25 years and they did not marry because there love was not sincere. If they loved genuinely they had many opportunities to get married and they would have done it, he says. He also asked, if they loved so much then why didn't Kanchanamala lend 10 cent land from her share for building memorabilia of Moideen.
