Onam movies 2017 – Opening day box-office analysis
Yes! All four Onam movies of the year, Velipadinte Pusthakam, Pullikkaran Staraa, Adam Joan and Njandukalude Naattil Oridavela, are released. Among these movies, Mohanlal – Lal Jose team’s Velipadinte Pusthakam has the highest opening day collection of 3.72 Crores, which is second highest for a Malayalam movie ever after The Great Father and Pulimurugan. Meanwhile, Mammootty has had a disappointing start with Pullikkaran Staraa. Unsurprisingly Nivin Pauly and Prithviraj movies got a decent start at the box-office.
