Young actors like Nivin Pauly and Dulquer Salmaan have significant number of fans in Tamil Nadu, which obviously helps Malayalam films to attract more viewers to the theatres there. However, as of now, Dileep’s Kammara Sambhavam is the Malayalam movie with highest opening weekend gross collection in Tamil Nadu, thanks to Siddharth and good pre-release buzz. Mohanlal’s Villain, which also stars Vishal and Hansika Motwani, stands next to it. Interestingly, Nivin Pauly’s offbeat attempt Hey Jude stands third with a collection of 25.97 Lakhs.
