6 most awaited tamil remakes in 2015
PK was one of the blockbusters and highest grossing film of the year 2014 in Bollywood. The movie starred Aamir Khan in the lead role is to be reproduced in Tamil. The latest news states that Kamal Hassan would do the title role in the movie. The film is to be produced by Gemini Film Circuit, which already took over the rights for remaking the film.
Drishyam had created a storm in the Malayalam film industry. The movie shook the mind of Malayalees all over the world and it was a super hit movie. The movie feature Mohanlal was remade in Telugu and now to be made in Tamil. Kamal Hassan will replace Mohanlal in the Tamil version of the film named as ‘Papanasam’. The other cast of the remake will be Gautami Tadimalla, Asha Sarath, Anant Mahadevan, Kalabhavan Mani, Sreerag Nambiar , Niveda Thomas and Baby Esther. The film is expected to release this year.
3. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara one of the hit Bollywood movies of 2011, is planned to be reproduced in Tamil. The Bollywood lead casts Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Aktar and Abhay Deol will be substituted by Vikram, Madhavan and Prithviraj respectively.
Raajneeti, a political blockbuster of Bollywood is set to be remade in Tamil. Rights for remaking the movie has been picked up by UTV Motion Pictures and the casts will probably be Madhavan, Arya, Bharath, Prakashraj and Sathyaraj in the main roles.
Queen created waves in Hindi film industry and the movie had given Kangana Ranaut a chance to perform her best. She indeed acted splendidly, apart from being glamorous. The movie is planned to be remade in Tamil.
6. Bangalore Days
Bangalore Days was the highest grossing movie of the year 2014. The film starring Nazriya Nazim, Nivin Pauly, Dulquer Salmaan, Fahadh Faasil, Isha Talwar, Parvathy Menon and Nithya Menen is all set to be remade in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The casts of the Tamil version are Arya, Siddharth, Bobby Simha, Samantha and Nithya Menon.
