1. Vineeth Sreenivasan
Vineeth Sreenivasan is an artist who has proved himself a good actor in movies such as Oru Second Class Yathra, Ormayundo Ee Mukham and Chappa Kurishu. He is playing titular role of Aby, a hyperactive boy who dreams of making his own aircraft. Reportedly, Aby is Vineeth Sreenivasan’s most challenging role till date. This definitely raises the expectations over the movie.
2. Srikant Murali
Aby is the debut directorial venture of Srikant Murali, who had proven his caliber as an ad film maker. Earlier, he has worked as the assistant of Priyadarshan in Bollywood movies such as Garam Masala and Hulchul. He has also appeared as an actor in the movie Action Hero Biju by portraying the role of Adv. Jayakrishnan.
3. Santhosh Echikkanam
The movie is scripted by Kerala sahitya academy award winning writer Santhosh Echikkanam. He is a scenarist who is known for quality and freshness in his works. His previous works were Nidra, Annayum Rasoolum, Idukki Gold, Chandrettan Evideya and Njan Steve Lopez. Thus let us expect one another great movie from the writer.
4. Partnering with AirAsia
Famous Malaysian airline AirAsia is the official airline partner of Aby. Earlier, they had been the official airline partner of Rajinikanth’s mega budget movie Kabali. They have already started a campaign with a hash tag #FlyLikeAby for promoting the movie. Aby is produced by Suvin K Varkey under the banner of Little Big Films. This is the third production venture of Suvin after Third World Boys and Kunjiramayanam.
5. Promising star cast
Aby has a strong star cast including Mareena Michael, Aju Varghese, Sudheer Karamana, Hareesh Peradi, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Dileesh Pothan, Vineeth Mohan, Vinitha Koshy, Maya Menon, etc. Cinematography of the movie is handled by Sudheer Surendran and music is composed by Bijibal, Anil Johnson and Jaison J. Nair.
